Dear Will:

Just a quick note to thank you for the information you sent me especially the material of the crewmember.

In answer to your question about me going to Africa, I flew all my missions from England. I was on my 22nd. I finally found a good map that shows this: Braunschwiig (Brunswick).

They are the same town. One in German and one in English, I suppose. If you locate any of the five members of the crew that survived, please let me know.

I wish you success in compiling your information and I know it will be appreciated by all concerned.

Happy Holidays to you and your family,

Paul A. Jones

Dear Will:

Due to your effort to locate Walter Nealor, he called me last night and I wrote him a letter today.

I am going to send him a copy of all the correspondence you and I had and ask him to check out my version of the "Last Flight." This may get exciting. I am anxious to get this correspondence going. I also sent him one of the two pictures I had of the crew and told him of the change you told me about.

"Warny" was wounded and I recommended him for a Purple Heart when we got out of POW camp in 1945. He never received it so I want to do all I can to correct that error.

If anything new turns up, I will let you know. Thanks again for your effort.

Sincerely,
Paul A. Jones
